Kate Colchester
Senior VP, Regional Head of Business Development and Consulting, Maples Fund Services
Kate has extensive experience as a consultant to hedge funds, investors and service providers to the
alternative funds world. She has been working in the global hedge fund industry for more than 10 years
with a specific focus on Asia.
Kate joined Maples Fund Services in Hong Kong in 2011. She spent 5 years in Singapore working for
Eurekahedge PTE, The Bank of New York Mellon Alternative Fund Services and running her own firm, ENE
Advisors. Kate was a founding member of Eurekahedge as head of Marketing and Publishing and joined in
2002 from Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC. Kate joined The Bank of New York Mellon in Asia to help
build out alternative fund servicing capabilities across product lines including fund administration, custody
and collateral management in 2007. At the end of 2009 she saw an opportunity to help new launch fund
managers with their start up processes and to help investors identify area's of opportunity in the Asian fund
universe and left BNYM to launch ENE Advisors with a group of independent management consultants.
