Marathon Asset Management, LP (the “Firm” or “Marathon”) is a global alternative asset management firm founded by Bruce Richards and Louis Hanover in 1998.  With its headquarters in New York, and offices in London and Singapore, Marathon employs approximately 125 professionals and manages approximately $10.3 billion1 in capital across distinct investment funds, managed vehicles, and separate accounts. 

 

Marathon’s funds are certified by Amber Partners and have been rated “Excellent” for Operations Quality by Moody’s2.  Marathon Asset Management LP is registered as an investment advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the U.S.  Marathon is also one of the eight managers selected by the U.S. Treasury currently managing PPIP Funds.  Marathon’s London office is registered with the Financial Services Authority in the U.K. and the Firm’s Singapore office is filed as an exempt fund manager with the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
