Qi Wang

Managing Director & Portfolio Manager, PIMCO

 

Qi Wang is a managing director at PIMCO and a lead portfolio manager for the firm’s Global Macro hedge funds. Ms. Wang has served as a member of PIMCO’s Global Investment Committee, PIMCO’s Americas Portfolio Committee, and manages approximately $6 billion in hedge fund assets. She oversees the funds’ investments across multiple asset classes including fixed income, currencies, equities, and commodities. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2010, she was with HBK Capital Management for 12 years, most recently as a managing director. Ms. Wang holds a bachelor's degree in economics and molecular biochemistry and biophysics from Yale University.
