Brad Berning
Portfolio Manager−Financials, Pine River Capital Management
Prior to joining Pine River, Brad served as Analyst, Assistant Portfolio Manager and Co-Founding Partner at FrontPoint Financial Services from 2004 to 2010. At FrontPoint, Brad performed primary research on the global insurance and U.S. housing industries and contributed to risk management. In 2003, Brad served as a Global Insurance and Specialty Finance Analyst at Viking Global Investors and prior to that he was a Senior Financial Analyst at Andor Capital from 2001 to 2002. From 1996 to 2001, Brad served as Senior Financial Business Services Analyst at Piper Jaffray. Early in his career, Brad worked as a Senior Auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick from 1994 to 1996. Brad received a BS in Accounting with Highest Honors from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 1994.
