Diamond Standard is the first natural diamond commodity. A fungible, physical and digital asset, that is transacted on the blockchain. When held by custodians, the diamond commodity provides a decentralized reserve to asset-back any digital contract or currency. Diamond Standard Co. is the commodity manufacturer, and market maker for a member-owned, digital loose diamond exchange. Launching in 2019, the commodity has been pre-ordered by institutional investors with more than $7 trillion of assets under management, and approved by 19 ETF funds.
