Ivelina Green

Partner & Head of Special Situations, CQS

Ivelina joined CQS as a Partner in 2015, coming from Goldman Sachs where she served as Head of European Distressed Debt Trading. In this capacity, she was responsible for trading and investing in all public and private corporate distressed debt across bonds, loans and claims, reorganized and private equity, as well as illiquids and special situations. Ivelina set the distressed trading and investing agenda for the European business, leading the dedicated research, sales and sourcing bench in setting priorities. She led restructuring and deal negotiations in many activist investments, and worked closely with Goldman Sachs’ Capital Markets and Restructuring Units to help identify commercial opportunities. Prior to moving to London in 2007, she started her career at Goldman Sachs in New York.  Ivelina graduated magna cum laude from Brandeis University where she was a Wien Scholar.
