Katia Porzecanski has been a reporter for Bloomberg News in New York since 2011. In her current role, she breaks news and writes feature stories about U.S. hedge fund firms and investing. She previously covered emerging markets for five years, focusing on credit and foreign exchange markets in Latin America. Before joining Bloomberg, she worked as a junior economist at a research firm in Buenos Aires. Porzecanski has a BA in economics from Tufts University.
