Managing Partner & Co-Founder, G Squared Capital

Gareth is managing partner and co-founder of G Squared Capital LLP (“G2”), an investment management firm at the vanguard of the AI revolution.

Founded in 2011, G2 (https://www.gsquaredcapital.com/) is a pioneer in using machine learning and data science to elicit persistent patterns in company data. Since inception, the firm has also been a leader in integrating ESG data with fundamental and sentiment data, ultimately combining many thousands of unique data-points per company. G2 is a signatory of the UN Principles of Responsible Investment (UN PRI).

Gareth is an engineer by training with two decades of risk and asset management experience. Before entering finance he developed knowledge acquisition software to tackle classification problems in epidemiology, earning his PhD at UNSW, Sydney.

He was awarded a United Nations Assoc. triple-bottom line award and was granted a World Economic Forum Fellowship, completing a Masters degree with Columbia University, London Business School and INSEAD. He is a CFA Charterholder.
