Pyrrho Capital Management is a global cross-capital structure event driven investment manager. Based in New York, Pyrrho and the Pyrrho Global Event Driven Fund ("the Fund") were launched in 2012. Pyrrho aims to capitalize on hard catalysts that redistribute cash & visible cash flow throughout the capital structure. We focus on situations and components of the capital stack that tend to be inefficiently priced (near-term maturities/calls, distributions to equity, restructurings/exchanges, and mergers and acquisitions etc.). Our team maintains a defined focus on the Financial, Energy and Basic Materials sectors while stressing low correlation and idiosyncratic investments and returns.
The Pyrrho team has extensive investment experience across the capital structure with expertise in complex financing arrangements and organizational structures, as well as deep distressed workout and restructuring experience. We take pride in building a business that is suited for long term growth. We target 18-20% investment returns, and place a high emphasis on risk control, liquidity, and limiting drawdowns. Our team prioritizes alignment of interests and values with our Limited Partners, and we have significant partner capital invested in the Fund.
