Cycle for Survival would not be possible without founders Jennifer Goodman Linn and her husband Dave Linn. Through their personal experience with Jen's battle with sarcoma, they recognized the funding gap for rare cancer research and the urgent need for better treatment options. The event they started in 2007 has transformed into a vehicle for progress as part of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), and with Equinox as the founding partner. Since inception, Cycle for Survival has raised more than $76 million with every dollar going to rare cancer research studies and clinical trials. The tremendous success of this national movement is thanks to Jen and Dave's determination, MSK, Equinox, and the incredible participants and donors across the country. Jennifer, who was first diagnosed in 2004, passed away in 2011, but her indomitable spirit and extraordinary legacy live on through Cycle for Survival. Dave continues to volunteer his time. He's Cycle for Survival's most vocal advocate, a leader within the community, and an inspiration to everyone fighting back against cancer.
